Introducing smarter video search: find videos by what’s shown, said or written 🎬

You now have more ways to find the right videos in Dash, even if they aren't meticulously tagged.

• Describe what you’re looking for. AI-enhanced search now supports videos as well as images. Find videos by describing what happens in them or the topics they cover, such as “person holding a pot plant” or “an overview of how to care for indoor plants”.
• Search for spoken words. Video transcriptions are now searchable, so you can find videos using words or phrases spoken in them.
• Search for in-video text. You can now find videos by searching for any text that appears in them, including titles and animated text.

ℹ️ Note: These three new search capabilities are available on our current usage-based plans only and apply to videos uploaded from 30 September 2026 onwards. If you’d like previously uploaded videos included, get in touch via our in-app chat.
