Portals let you create a permanent, public and searchable view of selected folders from your Dash account.
Previously, only Admin users could create portals. We've now enabled this for all users (Contributors and Basic).
As part of this change, portals have a new home! Just click on the icon in the header bar. Can't see this in your Dash? Ask an Admin to give you permission.

Previously, contributor users could only create subfolders within folders they had contributor access to.
Now, contributor users can also edit, rename and move folders they have access to as well.

You may already use our upload approvals functionality to review newly submitted assets to your Dash before making them searchable by all users.
Until now, you could either be an approver, or someone who could submit for approval, but not both.
Now, even if you are an approver, you can optionally submit your assets for approval. This is great if you are submitting assets owned by a different team that you don't have approval authority over.
Just click the arrow next to "Put live" on the upload screen and choose "Send for approval".

You can now set a release date for assets, that warns your users if they try and download or share an asset that is not yet ready for use.

We've merged free tags and controlled tags into one unified Tags field.

You can even rename to something else if you like!

By popular demand, you can now choose to use an asset's title for its filename when downloading it to your desktop.
The works for the Original download size.
Configure this option in Admin > Preset sizes > Original
We've released a few improvements to our Shopify plugin:
You can now request your installation link directly from within Dash, and stay up to date on progress.

You can also request for additional stores to be set up, and configure which field to use to match agsinst Shopify SKUs.
Just go to Admin > Integrations > Shopify to set your store up!
You can now view all images of a given product in the Shopify export screen - not just the images you are exporting. This allows you to review how the exported images will appear alongside existing images.
You can also remove chosen images from your product pages from within the export screen. Click the delete icon on any thumbnail to remove the images from the product page.
